What's the difference?
When using a conventional camera with infrared lighting for night monitoring, people, vehicles and other important objects can be blurry and blend into the background. This makes it difficult to identify important details.
Being able to see colour images in dark locations gets rid of that problem, allowing you to see all of the small details you need. Colour of clothes or cars, license plates and many other things are visible, even in the darkest of places.
